Ms. Andrea Palmer

Andrea is Responsible Investment Lead for PGGM’s Global Real Estate Securities portfolio where she oversees integration of ESG into investment underwriting, portfolio construction and engagement with listed real estate companies. She is Chair of PGGM's Climate Risk Committee, overseeing the climate risk management program for PGGM's EUR 280 billion of assets under management (across asset classes). She has been working at the intersection of real estate and sustainable investment since 2014. Prior to PGGM, Andrea held ESG and institutional capital raising roles at LaSalle Investment Management, GRESB and Triodos Investment Management. She graduated from Aurora University outside Chicago with a Bachelors in Marketing Research and is currently pursuing an Executive Masters in Real Estate Development and Sustainable Urbanization from IE School of Architecture and Design in Madrid. She holds a Series 7 securities license (U.S.), SASB FSA Credential (IFRS) and ESG Competent Boards Designation. Andrea is also the founder and board chair of Net Impact Amsterdam, an association of sustainability professionals in The Netherlands that produces sustainability education programs, networking events, and mentorship opportunities to progress purposeful and effective impact careers.
